FRIED RICE WITH GARLIC, SHALLOTS, AND CHINESE SAUSAGE

- 1 bowl of overnight-cooled rice (Using cold rice is best for fried rice)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, minced
- Green onions for garnish
- Sliced Chinese sausage (to make it crispy after frying)
- Salt, sugar, and pepper
Cách làm
- Place the Chinese sausage in a hot pan to render the fat; the sausage will become crisper.
- Add the chopped onion and sauté until fragrant; no need to brown.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté until fragrant.
- Use your hand to crumble the overnight-cooled rice and add it to the pan.
- Season with salt, sugar, and pepper.

- Fry for 6-10 minutes to allow the rice to absorb the flavors.
- Turn off the heat and add the green onions.
- Serve hot.
